Austin Bounce House Rentals - Dolphin Splash Water Slide | Water Slides ...

Water slides are popular during Summer and other warm times of the year. Check out the ultimate water slide, the Dolphin Splash Water Slide! At 37 feet long, 15 feet wide and as tall as a 2 1/2 story building, the Dolphin Splash is the "be all" of Summer fun for the kids! It's like having a water coaster in your backyard with its double humps and splash down zone. The kids will love the feeling of flying when they "get air" off the humps.

The Dolphin Splash Water Slide is also one of the safest giant slides in the industry. With redundancy for anchoring to points in the ground, this slide won't be subject to "taking off" on a windy day. Safety with inflatables has gotten more attention over the last few years which has resulted in significantly improved safety ratings on products such as the Dolphin Splash Water Slide. We believe that it's the safest way to have fun on a water slide.

Are Video Games Bad for Kids?

Many parents wonder if their children are playing too many video games and what that might be doing to their precious minds. Studies have shown that video games may not be as bad as once thought, however, there are some precautions.
1) "Content is King" - Always pay attention to the content that's going into your child's mind. Regardless of how, information is information and it's either the kind of information you want your child to have, or it's not.
2) "No Access to Excess" - Limit computer/video game/smartphone activity to 4 hours per day. There are several scientific reasons for this, but the jury is still out, so play it safe and limit exposure.
3) "One Trick Pony" - Children are sponges until they're teens, then they actively filter what they learn, how and at what speed. In order to take full advantage of your child's young and porous mind, get them outside playing and visit museums and other cultural centers in your area often. The window of opportunity will close soon enough, so it's okay to over do-it.
So what shall a parent do with a child after their 4 hour time limit has elapsed? Easy. Rent a moonwalk and get them outside, exercising (don't tell them, they don't know it's healthy), having fun and interacting with one another! Problem solved, at least for another day!

Summer is here; what to do with the kids?

Summer is indeed a time when parents look for camps and activities to keep their kids active and entertained. We don't want to admit it, but we're so relieved when school starts back up again. With Summer comes the time constraints of managing the kids while still pursuing personal goals, career objectives and other required activities of adult life. Give yourself a great break this Summer and pick a day to have a moonwalk setup in the yard. This keeps the kids busy, active and interacting with one another; something not all video games can boast!
